Rightside red icons are drawing tools. always one of these tool is activated.

Arrow tool (Keyboard shortcut 'A')

Arrow tool is used for select / move / sizing / edit shape.

Hand tool (Keyboard shortcut 'H' / 'Space')

Hand tool is for the screen scrolling. Dragging screen by this tool will make screen scroll like a paper. Keyboard shortcut 'Space' will switch to Hand tool only while pressing.

Rect tool (Keyboard shortcut 'R')

Draw a rectangle. following options can be used.

  • with Shift key press: make 1:1 aspect square
  • with Control key press: make mouse down point as center
  • width Alt key press: ignore grid adjustment
all combination of option keys also be supported.

Ellipse tool (Keyboard shortcut 'E')

make ellipse. making process is same as rectangle. options keys also available.

  • with Shift key press: make 1:1 aspect square
  • with Control key press: make mouse down point as center
  • width Alt key press: ignore grid adjustment

Polygon tool (Keyboard shortcut 'P')

make regular polygon or star shape. options keys also available.

  • with Shift key press: make 1:1 aspect square
  • with Control key press: make mouse down point as center
  • width Alt key press: ignore grid adjustment

Text tool (Keyboard shortcut 'T')

Text primitive. Select 'Text' tool, then click the screen. the default text 'Text' is placed. The size of text (and any other properties) are setuped by left-lower properties pane.

Shape tool (Keyboard shortcut 'S')

Shape primitive is a bezier based free designable primitive. creating shape primitive need a little complex process. look at the shape for detail.

Gradation tool (Keyboard shortcut 'G')

Make gradation to primitive. After select a primitive, specefy Start/End point by this Gradation tool. This tool is also used for determine the specular center points. Refer the 'Effect' description =>Effects

Trimming tool (Keyboard shortcut 'M')

Set new canvas size by dragging.

Insert Image

Insert a image primitive. .bmp / .png / .jpg / .gif and .knob files by KnobMan are importable. Unlike other tool, this button has no mode and immediately work when press.

Insert new knob

Insert a new knob (by KnobMan). The 'KnobMan' should be installed and associated with ".knob" file. 'default.knob' file should be placed to same folder as 'SkinMan.exe'. By this button, automatically created knob file is imported to current project, and launch the KnobMan. after edit/save by KnobMan, the 'Refresh Images/Knob' from R-click menu will be need to reflect the result.
